It’s been a while, and things have certainly changed ~around here~. In case you were totally dazzled as you came across this post, Little Wold Vineyard has had a bit of a digital face lift. The old website has been with us since we launched way back in the early 2010s; saw us through a pandemic, where Alice brought digital wine tastings to the fore; and handled the incredible response we’ve had to our Cellar Door and wines in the years since. Alas, nothing can last forever, especially in the digital realm, ergo: it was time for a refresh. Once more, a huge thank you to Cloud Wine Agency for all of their hard work, and creating a website that we are truly proud of.

The last time we caught up, we were heading into our 2024 harvest; as of this week, four out of five of our staple names are on the precipice of bottling! While we didn’t pull in the numbers we’d been hoping for last season, we are so happy with the quality of the wine we do have. So keep your eyes on our shop – you may be seeing some of our 2024 vintages coming through very soon.

With the weather actually out-performing our expectations, it’s been a busy month both in the vineyard and the Tasting Room. The vines are thriving, thanks to these long days of uninterrupted sun. While our varieties are predominantly of German origin, the lack of rain still suits them, and the sun has provided them with ample energy to produce their all-important food (glucose!). Tom and Cam are keeping everything crossed in the hopes that this weather will persist throughout the season – so if you’re even remotely superstitious, Little Wold Vineyard could do with all the good luck you’re able to give!

As for the Tasting Room, with the bank holiday weekend only hours away, and all this good weather, we’re anticipating a very busy weekend. Last weekend our VIP picnics went down a treat. These events are now also completely sold out, so if you’re interested in a bespoke picnic event at Little Wold Vineyard, you’re going to have to hold out until summer 2026 (can’t believe I just wrote 2026, where is the time going?)! Our vineyard tours and tastings are as popular as ever, and we do recommend that you book in advance of the month you wish to visit to avoid disappointment. Our dates go as far as September (I highly recommend making a visit in this month, on a sunny day around harvest the vineyard looks spectacular), so head to the events page if you would like to get yourselves a spot. Our cellar door will not be open on bank holiday Monday (we have to squeeze in time for ourselves somewhere!!), but as ever our products are available for purchase on our website. Speaking of products…
Say hello to Little Wold Wine Club.

Little Wold Wine Club is our latest creation, and we’re so excited to share it with you!! Not to be too personal on the journal, but creating this wine club has been such an interesting experience for me, and it’s a little scary to see it finally making its way into the wild world. The club will be a home for those with a love for wine, Yorkshire, and, of course, Little Wold Vineyard. We’ll be releasing more details in the weeks to come but in the meantime, if you’d like some early discount, why not try emailing ellie@littlewoldvineyard.co.uk with the subject line ‘Little Wold Wine Club – Early Discount’. Who knows what may appear in your inbox once the product is available…
That’s all for now, folks. Enjoy your weekend, and make sure to follow us on Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok.
