Ours (Limited Edition)
A first for Little Wold Vineyard, this sparkling wine is made from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Only 2,000 bottles of this blend were produced, in honour of the leaps and bounds made by the Wilson family and the Little Wold Vineyard team.
The farm has been in the Wilson family’s possession for almost 80 years now, through which time the family have pulled together to ensure the businesses success. Ours is a nod to our pride and passion for our home and the hope that future generations will hold a love for it as deep as our own.
Tasting notes
Ours was aged for 24 months during its second fermentation, which has allowed for much more complex flavours to develop. On first impressions, fruits like apple and lemon come to mind, but once tasted the creamier notes are realised, similar to buttery baked goods.
Winemaking & Ageing
Currently, our sparkling wines are made at Half Penny Green, where they undergo the traditional double fermentation method. This longer process creates more depth within the wine, as the fermentation lees are broken down further while they are left to rest. The sparkling wine is then disgorged and corked. Pairing
Ours, a white sparkling made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, will suit a fish-based dish with plenty of strong flavours. Barbequed prawns will be uplifted by the wine’s effervescence and light notes. Adding to this a cream-based side dish, like avocado and corn salad, will complement the wine’s crisp finish.
We had walked the Wolds Way, and enjoyed this wine as a celebration of finishing the 80 miles.

FAQ
How often do you hold your events?
Our events are generally held at least monthly if not more depending on the time of year. We try to advertise dates around 3 months in advance.
How much wine will I consume on my visit?
Each wine sample is generally around 50-75ml. If you would like a spittoon during your visit, please let a member of the team know.
Can I bring my dog?
We are a dog friendly venue, but always ask that they are kept on a lead and that owners are respectful of other guests who may not like your fury friends as much as we do. We also polite request they DO NOT sit on our furniture.
What happens if I change my mind and can’t attend on the day I have booked?
Sadly we cannot change dates that have been booked for a whole host of reasons. If you are unable to attend an event you are booked on to, we advise you give us as much notice as possible and we will add them back to the system and try resell the tickets. If they do not sell the full amount will be lost. More can be read in our Ts &Cs.
Can I gift events?
We advise that people buy one of our ‘gift cards’ rather than booking a specific event. This means rather than loose the booking if they cannot attend, that they can book a date that works for them OR purchase wine.
Can I leave my car after the event?
While you are allowed to leave cars, they are done so at the owners risk. The properties gates will also be locked when the staff leave and are only open during opening house Please ensure you (or your guests) check what the opening times are on the day following your event.
