Tom’s Cuvée
Our bumper crop from 2018 inspired us to commemorate the fantastic year by producing two sparkling wines. Tom’s Cuvée is our white sparkling, made from a blend of Seyval and Solaris grapes.
Tom is the second son of Henry Wilson, and is part of the third generation of Wilsons who are currently running Little Wold Vineyard. Having spent his whole life in and around agriculture, a step into vineyard management may have come as a surprising yet rewarding challenge for Tom. Fortunately he has taken it all in his stride, and the vines have continued to flourish under his care.

Tasting notes
On the nose, Tom’s Cuvée lives up to the standards of all quality English sparkling wines, with lemon, hazelnut and apple. The flavours follow on from this theme, with delicate citrus and subtle toasty notes.
Winemaking & Ageing
Currently, our sparkling wines are made at Half Penny Green, where they undergo the traditional double fermentation method. This longer process creates more depth within the wine, as the fermentation lees are broken down further while they are left to rest. The sparkling wine is then disgorged and corked. Before making their way back to us.
Pairing
This sparkling white wine has a freshness to it that makes it an easy choice for dishes such as sushi. The delicate flavour profile of Tom’s Cuvée will allow the fuller flavours of the sushi to shine through, and cuts through the briny flavour without taking away from the dish.
Love this sparkling wine. The strong apple flavour comes through and it’s so nice with Italian food in particular. Brilliant that it’s from a local vineyard too!

FAQ
How often do you hold your events?
Our events are generally held at least monthly if not more depending on the time of year. We try to advertise dates around 3 months in advance.
How much wine will I consume on my visit?
Each wine sample is generally around 50-75ml. If you would like a spittoon during your visit, please let a member of the team know.
Can I bring my dog?
We are a dog friendly venue, but always ask that they are kept on a lead and that owners are respectful of other guests who may not like your fury friends as much as we do. We also polite request they DO NOT sit on our furniture.
What happens if I change my mind and can’t attend on the day I have booked?
Sadly we cannot change dates that have been booked for a whole host of reasons. If you are unable to attend an event you are booked on to, we advise you give us as much notice as possible and we will add them back to the system and try resell the tickets. If they do not sell the full amount will be lost. More can be read in our Ts &Cs.
Can I gift events?
We advise that people buy one of our ‘gift cards’ rather than booking a specific event. This means rather than loose the booking if they cannot attend, that they can book a date that works for them OR purchase wine.
Can I leave my car after the event?
While you are allowed to leave cars, they are done so at the owners risk. The properties gates will also be locked when the staff leave and are only open during opening house Please ensure you (or your guests) check what the opening times are on the day following your event.
